Part one of my Hen Party shenanigans is finally here. I feel so overwhelmed with joy and excitement as I am on the final stretch to the wedding day now. I feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate with my friends and family in different ways. This blog post is all about my Hen day out in London for chums that couldn’t make my hen weekend. We booked the Brigits Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus tour which was so much fun. Continue reading to hear all about it.

Afternoon Tea Bus

The Afternoon Tea Bus was the perfect experience for a Hen Day. I had been on the tour before for a brand event and loved it. The tour leaves from Victoria Coach station so we all met there beforehand. The experience definitely isn’t like your usual afternoon tea which is what makes it so fun. Once seated on the bus, your food is already set up ready to eat. There is a delicious selection of sandwiches, savory cakes, and rolls as well as the usual sweet treats. Tea is served from plastic take away cups to prevent spillages as the bus can get a bit wobbly at times. Seeing the sights of London is fabulous but we were having such a laugh we barely took in the sights! The duration is about 1.5-2 hours and it flew by. The only thing I think is it could have easily been longer for how much you pay, 3 hours would have been perfect. I’d definitely recommend it though for a special occasion.

Bride to be outfit!

I wanted to wear something special on the day to feel like the ‘bride’. I ended up changing my dress choice last minute as my first choice was too big. This pastel blue is actually my wedding colour so it ended up tying in really nicely. The dress is from House of Fraser but last year 2018, I did a blog post all about their occasion dresses. It was lovely to make the most of it and wear it again for this occasion. To dress it down a notch I wore my trusty pink leather jacket which almost comes everywhere with me now. My snazzy boots are from Irregular Choice! I definitely have a new found love for Irregular choice collections, they’re beautiful. Then to finish, my lovely friend Rebecca treated me to the balloons and sash from Ginger Ray.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what we got up to, it was such a lovely day! We laughed so much, there were Paige masks, filming us dancing and cocktails. Overall it was a great start to my celebrations and I felt super special thanks to my amazing friends. Thanks again, Rebecca for taking these wonderful photographs.
