This week saw the nation celebrate Afternoon Tea Week, which is a lovely thing to enjoy. On Friday I took my friend Georgie to Dandelyon Bar for Afternoon Tea, thanks to Red Letter Days experiences. It has been a while since I shared London life content on my blog, so keep reading if you would like to hear more about the experience.
Afternoon Tea at Dandelyon Bar
For my Red Letter Days experience, I chose to go to the lovely Dandelyon Bar located in the Mondrian Hotel. The place is in a fantastic setting right on the river Thames near London Bridge and Waterloo. My friend Georgie and I are big fans of afternoon tea but she is lactose intolerant which they catered for perfectly. With the savory and sweet options, there was something made especially dairy free for each one.
The menu is really simple as well, you can either choose champagne, cocktails or alcohol-free afternoon tea depending on what you prefer. The price does vary depending on your choice and we went for the alcohol-free. As you can see from the photos the quality of the food was beautiful and it tasted as good as it looks. My personal favourite was the salmon and cream cheese sandwich and the scone and cream. The produce and attention to detail were as you would expect for somewhere highly esteemed.

Booking with Red Letter Days is a great option if you want to gift someone a voucher. Having a day out and an experience is a refreshing way to treat someone whilst making memories at the same time. The Afternoon tea was perfect for me and my girlfriend to catch up and spend time together but there are plenty of other options to choose from.
