I stayed at my mums house for the evening last night, in a little cottage out in the country side. It was nice to get away for some quiet time as sad to say both of my cat’s had to be put to sleep this week. So after a bit of upset it was a much needed get away.
On Saturday during the day my mum, step father and I went to a lovely seafront pub and had a sweet day soaking up the sunshine and eating ice cream.
My mums house is quite small but full of character. It has beautiful flowers all over the garden and Chickens running around. It was nice to sit outside listening to the birds tweeting and playing games with my dog Freddy. Inside was all Cosy and warm and I stayed in my old bedroom I used to have when I lived here. It is so tiny I forgot how little it is. It has been decorated with shades of blue and it compliments the lovely dolls house. The theme spreads through the house as my mum has a liking for quirky objects and dolls (must be where i get it from). I love the rocking chair with the rag doll I made on it and Owl Cushion. Overall it was such a sweet and much needed little break away from daily troubles, was also great to see my Mum as I don’t get to see her that often.
I am loving pale blue at the moment! I can’t wait to continue wearing it into the winter months as well with mustard yellow and grey. This Cardigan is from a Charity Shop and was such a bargain at 2 pounds. These Black shorts are such a fantastic basic item to have and are so flattering to wear, these are $29 dollars from OASAP.
