After blogging for nearly 5 years I felt it was time to reintroduce myself. there has been a lot of changes on my blog and in my life recently, kind of like a New Beginning. You may have noticed my new design and move over to WordPress, as well as the launch of my Etsy shop. Behind the scenes I have been painting, making, filming and planning many different things that I haven’t had time to embrace the changes. I wanted to share a little bit about myself and talk about my future plans.
Who am I?
My name is Paige Joanna Calvert and I have been blogging since Feb 2012. I graduated from an Illustration degree in 2013, where I met my wonderful boyfriend of 6 years, Chris. We started a life together in Portsmouth but moved to the big smoke (London) at the start of 2015. Living in London is so much fun but also extremely tiring! I miss being able to see my triplet sisters and family but it’s meant a positive change in many things.
You probably already know this but I am obsessed with making things and crafting, which reflects on my Pinterest. I live and breath creativity, in my drawing, career and pretty much everything I do. Sometimes I may come across weird, but you can see by my blog post on this that I’m learning to embrace it. As I’ve gotten older I have lost friends along the way but also grown as a person. I’m learning to accept myself and also focus on things that really matter.
New Beginning
Welcome to my blog, Paige Joanna! Things look very different around here recently, with a change over to WordPress and a completely new theme. I wanted to freshen things up and refine my interests into categories. Sometimes I can focus on so many things at once that everything needed thinking about and refining. For the future I hope to continue to better my content and everything that comes with it. Paige Joanna is now as a shop (albeit a small one on Etsy) but this has always been a dream. Hopefully over time this will get better and more refined, feedback and support really helps.
Future
It’s of no surprise that I intend on blogging for the long haul. It’s a creative outlet for me and one I am extremely passionate about. To get more credit and followers enjoying my work is always an aim, but also making sure the content is of the best quality. Time is my hardest battle right now, having to squeeze everything into a few hours in the evening and weekend. It’s a tough journey to be on but I am excited to follow it through. I hope you can support my vision and any feedback is always highly appreciated.
Lastly, ChiChi London do the most amazing evening and occasion wear, like this dress photographed. It is a dream to wear and definitely wedding dress material. For this post I really wanted to express myself and my thoughts clearly so you can read exactly what my aims are.
