Hey guys, here again with another outfit post, this time featuring another personal favourite brand, Yumi (yumi.co.uk)! I have loved this brand since I was about 18 and was instantly drawn to their quirkiness. Recently they have been impressing me more and more, with the latest season stock flying in. In their new campaign they want to celebrate winter style, with the help from all their customers. So there are lots of things you can get involved in to celebrate you winter style with Yumi.
I picked my new season faves and styled up a transition outfit to get ready for the winter months. I felt a bit weird at first wearing a coat, but I embraced it (even if the sun was still shining) and decided bare legs during this time of year is still acceptable.
The look comprises of Yumi’s retro ’70s tile jumper, navy skater skirt with belt and black waterfall coat with tan lining detail. The jumper is now a beloved addition to my wardrobe, one that I am very happy about! The intricate navy detailing on the cuffs and neckline match the skirt perfectly, and the hint of red in the belt breaks up the busy print. The waterfall coat is so comfortable and has a tie up waist belt so looks uber flattering in the evenings tied up, worn over a dress and heels. I can’t wait to mix and match these items, especially wearing the jumper on a cosy day with jeans, or the skirt with a pretty blouse, tights and boots. That’s what I love about winter, how versatile layering items can be!
