I don’t know about most of you, but I really do prefer staying at home rather than going ‘out, out’. It is clear that I am not the only one, as according to a survey 70% of women prefer a girls night in. For me staying in is most enjoyable with friends, as I love more personal evenings, in the warm, especially at the time of year!!
Usually when my best friend, or friends come round we chat for ages, watch films and buy lots of snacks!! I can’t help but light candles and make my flat look really pretty. My friend Jodie (from Jodie Louise Sawyer) also brings slippers round every single time so we can get cosy and we have no cares around each other! I am at my happiest when crafting or watching a disney film with my loved ones and I know I prefer that over going out drinking (especially as I don’t drink anyway). One thing I do love is going out for meals, that’s an outing I cannot deny loving but nothing beats a great night in with great company!! The survey also says that 60% of people voted that you don’t have to shell out as much money, which at this time of year, with everyone being hard up that’s ideal! I know right now what I would choose, and that’s to stay in, I think the summer months are more for going out! Either way I find both exciting and staying in and having a girls night appeals to me the most all year round, what do you guys think?
