The style posts are back and this time I am celebrating the incredible Emily and Fin with their new Spring Summer 2020 collection. It reflects the wonderful look and feel of Morocco from the cobbled streets of the medina, the bustling souks to the timeless landscapes. I have styled up 3 different outfits including my favourite pieces from the collection. Keep reading to see more.

Back in May last year, Chris and I traveled to Marrakech in Morocco. We fell in love with the country due to the indulgent sights, smells and treat to the senses. It’s not hard to see why Emily and Fin would be inspired by the magic of it all and reflect this within the new collection. The brand is one I have loved for a few years now and they reflect my usual colourful and creative style. With unique fabric prints, vintage-inspired shapes and silhouettes with modernised features of rainbow buttons, fabric prints, and t-shirts.

Look 1: Lori Pink Culottes & Medina Cat Jumper

Transitioning into spring and warmer weather is all about thin layers. The mix and match items in this collection are amazing for layering, wearing the Lori Pink Culottes with a thin jumper means it’s still warm enough for chilly days. I styled the pieces with beige brogues, glittery socks and a bag I got on the markets in Marrakesh. It’s a gorgeous look and one I know I will be wearing right through the summer months. The fit of the culottes is great and surprisingly flattering even with the wide leg. The waist is fitting but comfortable, trust me as a woman with crohns I have to have clothes that aren’t tight. I love how they look with the Medina Cat Jumper tucked in but also can’t wait to wear sandals as the weather gets warmer.

Look 2: Brianna Navy Skirt & Le Maroc Tee

I absolutely love this combination of the Brianna Ink Blue Skirt and Le Maroc t-shirt. The linen blend fabric of the skirt makes it perfect for warm weather. The detail of the rainbow buttons and pockets are what won me over. I love it’s simplicity but also key detailing that sets it apart from other linen skirts I have seen before. Worn with the t-shirt inspired by Morocco makes me instantly feel ready for a summer holiday. I styled it with a vintage blue cardigan for spring, cute headband and slip on denim mules.

Look 3: Kate Summer Rainbow Stripe Dress

I saved my favourite for last, this incredible Kate Dress in Summer Rainbow Stripe. I saw this style and knew it would be a dream. The fit is incredible and the fabric is even more impressive in real life. With a slight glitter in the pink thread running through the stripe, it’s a real beauty. Subtle detailing from the multi-colour buttons, pockets, collar, and glitter running through it makes this an absolute treasure. I’d be surprised if this doesn’t sell out asap.

I completed the look with a lilac denim jacket (perfect summer combo), Cambridge Satchel bag, socks, headband, and pink vans. It’s a great versatile dress which I made more casual for this look but I will most certainly be dressing this up. I can picture the setting now; afternoon tea with friends or dinner date with my hubby. This dress gets a major thumbs up from me.

Emily and Fin Spring Summer

Overall It is a collection that has made me feel like I could be sitting back on a roof terrace in Morocco, sipping on mint tea. Not only are the prints unique and colourful but I feel like they are still timeless for summers to come. The colours are beautiful and the pieces are great because I can mix and match them. I could have easily chosen all of the dresses in the collection thanks to the super flattering shapes, lengths, and prints. Have a look at the full collection here and make sure to check them out on socials (linked below). Let me know what you think of the outfits I put together and are you looking forward to wearing Spring Summer clothes, I know I am! Bring on the sunshine.
