The leaves are falling off the trees and the nights are setting in earlier. Autumn is approaching and with that, I wanted to write up 5 reasons why I love it. Continue reading to find out more.

Beautiful colours of nature in Autumn

Without a doubt my favouirte thing about autumn is seeing the changes in nature. The leaves turning orange and red. The sunshine feeling warm but with a cool breeze and the red and deep blue sunsets. when capturing these moments with Professional Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras you can really pick up all those beautiful tones and colours. I usually take my camera with me on walks and this time of year is great for photography. Nature makes a beautiful backdrop for photos so expect to see a lot of this over the next month on my Instagram as well.

Autumn Clothing

My second favourite thing is Autumn clothing. I’m a huge fan of a granny cardigan knitted in different colours. Layering is also one of my favourite things about dressing this time of year because you can have so much fun with it. In the photos above I am wearing some thrifted items I picked up in a Charity Shop. The trousers were only £3 and so was the cardigan, items I will be wearing a lot over the next few months for sure.

Pumpkin Spiced Lattes

I know it’s a rather basic thing to say but I honestly do look forward to the season of Pumpkin Spiced Lattes from Starbucks. I remember trying one for the first time in 2013 and falling in love. It is the warmth of the spices and the coffee making it an addictive craving this time of year. If you have put off trying it, go go go, they are only sold for a couple of months a year.

Warm baths with candles

As the days get chillier there’s nothing better than winding down in a warm bath with candles burning. I always pop in some epson salts, bubble bath and unwind; warming my body and relaxing. It’s something to look forward to when out and about in the cold. Not only are warm baths lovely but I think all home comforts this time of year and into winter are.

The lead up to Christmas

Yep, I said it, the C word! Christmas is only a few months away and although some people dread the lead up getting earlier each year, I welcome it. I love Christmas, it makes me feel jolly and warm inside. It’s the best part about the days getting shorter and colder. With fairy lights on houses and shop windows twinkling and planning to see loved ones, it’s pretty awesome.

What about you? What are your reasons for loving Autumn? Are they the same as mine or do you have other things you like. Let me know in the comments.
