Party season is fast approaching and I am already snapping up some gorgeous pieces to wear. An item that really caught my eye whilst shopping last week was the Topshop Star Print Blouse. I always dislike wearing the same look twice to more than one party so I wanted to show 2 ways to wear the blouse. A statement item like this blouse can be worn more than once to more than one seasonal party! Please continue reading to see the 2 looks I put together.
Preppy & Cute
I wanted this look to be preppy and cute, styling the blouse with pretty and girly accessories. This outfit would be perfect for a Christmas dinner with work or friends as it’s festive but not too glam or going out dancing. The light pink jacket and matching beret give the look a more casual relaxed vibe and add a hint of colour that isn’t too stereotypically ‘Christmas’. The skirt is also from Topshop and it can easily be worn with a Christmas jumper and flat boots for a festive day time look. Simple touches like the sparkle on the fishnet tights and eyeliner make the look more party ready. Lastly, the little red belt adds some interest to the look and ties in my hair colour.
All the Sparkle
This look is all about the sequins and sparkle! The dress is also from Topshop and because of the spaghetti straps, it works great worn like a pinafore over the blouse. Layering dresses over shirts and blouses are a great way to stay warm and look stylish. To keep the look all about the dress and blouse the rest of the outfit is simple. A black faux fur coat and black heeled boots were simple pieces to tie it together.
