This time of year is all about the statement outfit. It’s hard to find something original in the swarm of sequin dresses and velvet tops. Christmas and party season is one of my favourite fashion seasons and I love having fun with each look. In this post I will be talking about the all important Matching Suit. It’s become snazzier then ever, with fun textures, prints and colours. Forget the office boring two piece, theres new lease of life with bright colours, textures and styles.
The Matching Suit
The Matching Suit is no longer a look just for the office or stuffy occasion. In high-street stores the style has been picked up and given a make over. Below I’ll put together a shop-able edit with my favourite styles, but first focusing on this outfit I put together. This glittery grey suit is from Primark and only cost £36 for both the jacket and trousers.
The look combines the fun glitter matching suit, with a more casual high neck jumper, velvet heels and statement beret. The beret is a hand embroidered one from my Craftober series and I will be selling them soon! I added the casual jumper to give the look more of a smart casual relaxed vibe, rather then becoming overly dressy. This means you could wear this from office to cocktails with just changing up your accessories. The suit, jumper and fluffy bag are from Primark which you can buy in store now. The total cost of the look is £49 pounds making it an incredible price.
So what do you think of the Matching Suit? Below are some style you can click and shop and I would love to hear your thoughts. I can’t wait to play around with some other styles and dress them up or down depending on the occasion.
