I wanted to create a new editorial series on my blog to go over new trends for AW17. Starting off with accessories and shoes, which can often make a look. Below I have put together styles from catwalk trends to highstreet new in styles.
SHOES
When doing my research for this blog post I found the most amazing article from Vogue. It has a complete round up of AW17 shoes, showcasing a variety of styles coming in. I picked out a few of my favourites and have also found some high street options to not break the bank.
Designer catwalk shows had an abundance of highly embellished shoes. Everything from buckles, fur, feathers, beading and tapestry. My favourite being Gucci for the large buckled shoes worn with delicate socks.
On Asos I put together similar styles for a more reasonable price point. Seeing designer styles on highstreet stores makes it so exciting to recreate catwalk looks. You can click through the images below to shop the styles.
BOOTS
Boots are definitely go hard or go home this season. With bright shades, high leg, buckles and decoration for days. The likes of Dolce and Gabanna, Miu Miu, Gucci and more have designed some killer pieces made to stand out. What is great with these statement boots is the ability to wear them with simple outfits (so they stand out) or clash with other prints. Below is a selection of highstreet styles you can shop.
BAGS
This seasons bags have taken on the softer side of life. It’s all about the big faux fur handles, totes and accessories. Not only is the fabric soft but also bright and colourful. Another fabric making it’s way back in is snake skin print, in bold colours.
