As you may be aware already, I do appreciate a classic trend. The Trench Coat is on the list of must have items everyone should own. Admittedly, it took me a long time to follow suit and find the perfect one for me! Eventually though, I realised just how versatile and easy to style they are. Jack Wills recently put out an article on how to style a Trench Coat, which is simply brilliant. Here are a few of my tips as well an an outfit edit on how I currently love to style one up.

MY STYLING TIPS
When I was debating an outfit for this feature I was really torn between going bright and snazzy or classic and simple. It was hard to figure out what I wanted but then thats the benefit of the Trench, it goes with everything. It doesn’t matter what your usual personal style, anyone can wear one. This tan shade from Jack Wills is a fantastic basic to own especially for the changing weather and seasons. I can’t believe i’d ever hear myself say this but I definitely think with this, less is more. Let the trench do the talking and embrace the simple yet classic style.
I styled up some high waist trousers and blouse from Joanie, with some fun denim bow pumps and simple silver accessories.
