This post is the start of a new series I want to do on my blog, showing ways to wear my favourite trends. First up, focusing on the classic pussybow blouse, with the help of Dorothy Perkins! You will most likely know already I am a huge fan of DP, as their clothes always fit me really well. They do amazing casual and classic items that are perfect wardrobe staples, as well as some gorgeous prints and petite range. The pussybow is a style that is extremely classic and finds it’s way back on the highstreet season after season, with no sign of it going anywhere into AW16! Here is 3 ways to wear a beautiful classic white style, perfect for spring.
Style 1: Casual Jeans
This is a simple look to achieve but one you can turn to over and over again. Team the classic white pussybow blouse with black cut off jeans, suede biker jacket and fun accessories. Metallic shoes looks great with simple outfits and make them seem effortlessly stylish, also novelty bags are fun and unique against a simple look.

Style 2: Evening Jumpsuit
I love a jumpsuit for evening occasions, as they are comfortable and make a great change to a dress. Personally I think a jumpsuit and heels can look a lot more stylish and unique, especially layered over a pussybow blouse. It is a cute way to add a feminine touch and a bit more interest to the overall look. Team with retro platform heels, rose gold accessories and the suede jacket for fresh spring evenings!

Style 3: Pinafore Dress
Pinafore dresses have been a love of mine for several years, and to see so many on trend this season makes me extremely happy. This cute floral retro style from DP was practically a match made in heaven when worn with the pussybow blouse. I had fun putting this outfit together and went for a super girly vibe. Grey basics and accessories are great for spring time as they soften the silhouette and make a daytime look more casual. Go for city chic with a statement hat, matching handbag and heeled boots, burgundy style optional!
