Hey all, this time I am back with a personal style post I have been meaning to share with you all. As of late I have been dressing more for comfort as I stated in a previous home comforts post, so this means less inspiration looks for the blog! This outfit is different though because I feel it ticks both boxes, with comfort and prettiness.
The dress is from my favourite store Missguided, I went for it after wanting something I could dress up and down. It is a floaty little black dress number with gorgeous embroidery detail on the front, cut out on the front and low back that does up with a bow. When worn with a waist belt loosely it is perfect for a laid back party or in my case for every day wear with tights and boots. I struggled on styling it for day wear that wasn’t complete boring and worth posting, so in the end opted for some quirky layering. I layered a fur gilet over a vintage plaid jacket which in hindsight was a weird combo but I quite like the outcome. Worn over this dress, with a bowler hat and large handbag it’s my version of perfect daytime chic!
