Good evening everyone! This is a slightly different post to my usual outfit styling. The lovely Mille ‘n’ Mae asked if I would like to feature something from their store. So when I came across these bracelets with the text ‘believe’ and ‘achieve’ I knew I HAD to have them. The reason I took to these is because it’s the exact attitude I am trying to stick to right now.

Some of you may have seen my post a while back discussing my crohns disease, and how I wanted to always be positive in life. Well the past few weeks have been really tough. I recently got diagnosed with Endometriosis (so now I have 2 diseases to my name, yeyy). What is difficult is that it’s really hard to treat and extremely painful. I wont go into details, but with the condition effecting my life it is hard to stay happy and look at life in a positive way. I have been applying for jobs and even had an interview for my DREAM JOB last week, but I don’t even know if I can cope. I tweet things sometimes I think people must see what I say and assume I just love moaning. That’s why I decided to blog about it briefly, because the conditions symptoms are under the quality act and means that I have the same rights as every one else applying for jobs. The sad thing is the pain means I can barely move some days, so I ask myself  ‘How will I work full time when I am struggling with normal daily tasks’. The answer really is all about mind over matter. So it comes down to these bracelets, wearing with pride and reminding me that if you believe in yourself you will achieve the things in life you strive for.

So if you are going through a lot of pain, stress or anxiety but you know deep down you want to be that person you used to be, with a spark in your eye and a spring in your step. Well then all you can do is believe in yourself, keep busy and instead of thinking about yourself and your own troubles, try and help those around you. Keeping busy is important, but so is relaxation and resting. If you are in pain, whether it’s physical or emotional then there is a way out. You will achieve your goal if you work hard and believe in yourself. Maybe even treat yourself to these bracelets as a first step into improving your mood. I hope that if you are reading this and you are going through a bad time then I wish you all the best. We can do it together through the highs and lows! I will probably continue to moan on twitter but it kind of gets me through the day. Do what you want that makes you happy.

Pink Espadrills – Flossy

Believe & Achieve bracelets – Mille ‘n’ Mae

When it comes to being poorly, as you can imagine the last thing on my mind is dressing in all my finery and gallivanting around the city. Instead I stick to the comfy clothes I own (we all have them) and try not to be hard on myself. Applying a little bit of eyeliner or your favorite tshirt is just as nice when it comes to feeling good about yourself. So that’s exactly what I did today.

I got these really cute Espadrilles from Flossy!! Something I wouldn’t normally go for but I thought I would give them a try, as I have seen my best friend wearing them. The pink is quite a bright pastel shade and reminds me a bit of bubblegum, which cheers me up! I wore them with jeans rolled up and a pretty floral tee. Nice and simple and extremely comfortable ! These shoes are like heaven on my feet, and walking in them is like having cushions tied to your feet. They may not be to your taste but Flossy have so many different styles I would recommend you take a look, see something you like and give them a try. They are kind to your tootsies and the comfiest shoe I have worn in a long time. And not to mention the brightest and most fun!!

If I can give you guys any advise it is to be yourself, don’t be hard on yourself if one day you want to stay in your pajamas  Some days we can’t keep up the positive thoughts but when you are happy and having a good day, try your hardest to really appreciate every moment! Believe in yourself and achieve exactly what you want from life.
