It’s officially spring which means fresh colours, new styles and Spring 2018 Trend Edit on the blog! This is my favourite time of year and shopping new fashion and accessories gets me extremely excited. So with newness coming into stores I wanted to put together my top list of items in an editorial. There are some key looks coming in so I have broken it into styles, hope you enjoy.

Lusting for lilac

Spring 2018 Trend Edit

Lilac is a beautiful fresh shade for spring and looks great for all occasions. Inject into your wardrobe with a staple leather jacket or pair of jeans for an easy way to wear it. If you don’t want to embrace the tone completely then there are also plenty of accessories to lust over lilac.

Stripes are spot on

Spring 2018 Trend Edit

Mixing stripes and spots is a fresh new take on print clashing. The two classic prints go together so well especially when in monochrome shades. Team the look with a bright block colour or accessories to bring them together perfectly. See my look below where I mix the two prints together. I went for shades of blue and both the stripes and spots are smaller in scale so they work well together.

Ice cream on a sunny day

Spring 2018 Trend Edit

The pastel shade trend is always my favourite every season, but especially in spring. Think ice cream colours of strawberry blue, blueberry ice, peaches and cream and mint chocolate. Mix pastel rainbow items over denim jeans for an easy everyday look, or wear pale shades for special occasions.

Summer sparkles

Spring 2018 Trend Edit

Sparkles are no longer just for the party season but spring is getting it’s own dose of dazzling items. Perfect for festivals or special occasions. Go big with rainbow sequins or go subtle with nude shades. Much like most trends add a small amount in your accessories if you don’t want the huge statement of a dress or top in your look but want to try the trend.

I hope you enjoyed the collection of trends I broke down. These are the styles i’ll be trying myself this spring but theres so many amazing things out at the moment. I’ll be styling some outfits on my blog soon with ways to style your current wardrobe and make do with older season clothing. Buying the odd piece at the start of the season is a fabulous way to feel inspired but try reassessing your wardrobe and working with items you own.
