Alternative Wedding Guest Outfits

As part of my alternative outfit style content I really wanted to do one dedicated to Alternative Wedding Guest Outfits. In the past few years I have seen an increase in creativity and outward thinking from guests attending weddings. I show a lovely outfit idea for Spring weddings and a few alternative styles to try for yourself.

ChiChi Floral Dress & Leather Jacket

When styling this beautiful floral tea style dress I wanted to make it more alternative. Adding a leather jacket to a floral dress gives it a more trendy look as well as making it fun. The blue jacket ties into the colours of the dress complimenting the pretty shades nicely. Don’t be afraid to mix it up and add a jacket like this, or even a faux fur or blazer style in a bright shade. For the details I went with more is more with embellishments galore. The bag is from Accessorize and the embellished flowers makes it a statement piece alone, but with the rest of the look brings all the colours together. Bags like this can be styles with so many dresses as the multitude of colours means it suits anything. Then for shoes I went for a simple nude pair that are delicately jewelled on the heel. This look would be my goto for any wedding this year as it’s fun, feminine but still shows off my personality.

Jumpsuits

The jumpsuit is a fantastic alternative to wedding style and more of an alternative option. I love the bold prints and wide leg options with a tie in waist, I think they look super flattering. That with heeled sandal, clutch bag and blazer would look perfect for a special occasion and means dancing is even easier (hello no falling over and revealing your bum). Shop the styles below!

I hope you enjoyed seeing some Alternative Wedding Guest Outfits styles available. It’s so much fun getting to dress up but have fun with it and don’t be afraid to try something new. Always check with the couple getting married in case of any formal or colour restrictions, don’t wear the colour dress of the bridesmaids or bride and you’re good to go!
