Winter Outfit Ideas on a Budget

During this time of year I start to get a bit bored of winter clothing. Coming up with Outfit Ideas can become stale and dull. Without spending money on new clothes I wanted to think of ways to liven up looks on a budget. It needn’t cost more money to create lovely looks to brighten up the last couple of months of winter.

Outfit 1

This look features some very spring like colours, but remains wintery with the warm coat and jeans. To freshen up a look on a budget would be to wear a statement bag or shoe! Theres so many amazing shoes on Asos in the sale and on the highstreet. Adding in sale pieces that are statements means wearing old clothes feels new again. This stripe jumper I have had for a couple of years now, and I love how it looks with this Boohoo pink coat. Fresh colours this time of year takes away from the gloomy cold days and makes spring feel just that little bit closer.

The bag is from Vendula and is one of the new Coffee Bar range! It’s super cute and perfect for anyone wanting a statement and novelty item to bring new life to outfits. Coming soon at end of Jan, check out their amazing bags here.

Outfit 2

This look is a bit more wintery, but still features some lighter colours. To update the older clothing I have accessorised with a cute beret, Dr Marten shoes and glittery socks. I find something as simple as altering the accessories can make an outfit much more inspiring. The light pink jumper is a few years old and is a firm favourite this time of year. I love light pink, so teaming it with check trousers in a darker shade looks quite cool.

Learning to layer pieces or try out a pair of shoes you wouldn’t normally wear (heart print with check isn’t the usual go to) and taking risks is what makes old clothes feel new again.
