Valentines day is slowly coming up and you may be thinking of things to do. Whether you are single, happily coupled up or think it’s a load of rubbish, it’s always nice to do something. Chris and I met up after dinner last week to try out the new Giraffe World Kitchen menu, in the Victoria London branch. We had a wonderful meal and evening together, resulting in very full bellies and smiles on our faces.
Giraffe World Kitchen
After work Chris and I met at Victoria for a date night, to try out the Giraffe World Kitchen new menu. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of choices on the menu without it being overwhelming. The waiter called Pawel was really lovely and offered us something to start straight away. As well as our waiter, the manager Kaitrina was fantastic and very hands on in the restaurant. It’s great to see the team working so well together.
We started off with a plate of nachos which tasted extremely fresh. The starters were amazing, especially the halloumi skewers, although they didn’t need the brown rice. Then the mains which were so good! I ordered the short rib and Chris had chicken quesadillas, both of which we were very happy with.
As an option for a date night, i’d highly recommend it for anyone wanting to go somewhere chilled. The overall atmosphere is very casual yet still feels like a treat. The new menu differs a lot since I visited back in the Summer last year. As Giraffe is a chain you can see more destinations here, to try it out for yourself.
