This month I was sent a Little Black Dress as part of the Boohoo Dress of the Month Styling Challenge. I had to make it my own by styling it in my usual personal style. The Little Black Dress has been a classic in every women’s wardrobe for years. It keeps it’s longevity because of how easy it is to add personality. This look was all about styling up this Boohoo LBD with my current favourite colours and accessories.
Styling Challenge
This Little Black Dress is an amazing basic to have in your wardrobe this season. In a delicate silky fabric with long lace arms means it’s beautiful for parties, events or dressing down for work. My favourite colour right now is pink, mainly in this light blush shade. The look of pink and black together is always an easy combination to pull off, for a feminine take on a LBD. I went for this midi Asos jacket, black tights and Ego floral boots for an added statement.
The amazing part of wearing such a basic is adding a bright print or colour to it. This is what gives your look more interest and personality, if you like bright different looks like me. You can keep it minimal also with monochrome shades but I honestly can’t keep away from bright colours no matter the season.
