The hum drum days of Autumn have set in and all my coats have come out of hibernation. I refuse to wear typical wintery colours of greys, burgundies and black. Bright Colours are my thing so I want to wear them all year round. There is something about wearing brighter colours that makes me happy, which I am going to embrace. If it means harbouring a more positive energy then its a simple yet great way to feel good.

Bright Colours

As I mentioned, colours in the colder months make me happy. Early nights and dark dreary days are so much better when you can brighten them. This outfit was taken a few weeks ago at LFW so you could add a pair of tights to make it more suitable. My hand painted jackets are great for autumn, worn over a little jumper and with a chunky scarf. You can purchase this exact one and other styles on my Etsy store, I launched a couple of months ago. If you want something custom painted on a jacket then get in touch!

Being More Positive

It’s so important to not let the colder dark days bog you down. I find myself getting into a bit of a slump during this time of year. I am still trying to come up with proper solutions and one of them was starting back at the gym. I’ve held off doing any exercise for months due to my health and other reasons but have finally decided it will be good for me. Also making sure you only have people around you that build your spirits up and support you in everything you do. Valuing those who comment on my posts, help when feeling down or sharing a post of mine they knew I worked so hard on. Little things like that to boost morale is so lovely and such a small thing. If you start to value others and focus more time and energy on people who care, then it helps to be more of a positive person. I personally think your own actions reflect on yourself and treating people with kindness is just going to make you feel good.
