One Dress Two Ways | Debenhams

For this look I wanted to keep the dress really summery and play on it’s feminine floral fabric. The pop of colour in the flower headband matches the dress and the bag dresses it down slightly keeping the look fun and sweet. Attaching a floral scarf around a bag can give it more interest and bring in more colours. This would make a great outfit to wear to the races because of the hair accessory and summery details. 

Outfit Choice 2: Summer Wedding or Cocktail Party.

For this look I wanted to make it more suitable for a fancy evening party or wedding. I tied a skinny scarf at the waist into a bow, to clinch in the waist and make the dress look more expensive. Something as simple as this can bring new life into something you have already worn! The pretty necklace has rose gold details so I matched the clutch bag, and then wore classic pearl earrings and ring. Black small heeled shoes mean you can dance loads and they keep in line with the retro tea dress style. 

The outfit’s may not be hugely different but I hope it shows off how accessories can really change it up. We are all guilty of only wearing things once, so this shows that there is more life in that dress you having hidden in the wardrobe. Debenhams always have amazing Occasion styles and brands, so invest in a new one this summer and get more wear out of it with simple small changes each time.
