Since living in London life has become extremely fast paced and I have turned into one of ‘them’ people that have to pencil everything into a diary. You may have seen my retro inspired Filofax post a couple of years ago, and I have always celebrated the brand – as well as stationary as a whole. Because of my Illustration and craft background I highly appreciate good supplies and love to keep organised with all aspects of my life.
This leads me onto this post, where I wanted to show off my iPad case from Filofax new range. There is no typical day in London for me so I wanted to explore all the areas I would use my iPad and photograph the day as it happened.
From glam life to Crohns life:
This particular day I wasn’t in the office – as I booked it off for a hospital scan. I had time in the morning to attend the Arcadia AW16 press day, so I packed my iPad and sett off early in the morning. I love is being able to write notes at events, about details and collections so you don’t forget them at a later date. Using an iPad looks a lot more stylish then a scrap of paper and the gold case fit in pretty nicely!
After the Press day I set off to the Hospital for my MRI Scan, where I used my iPad to play games. I spent about an hour in the waiting room drinking that horrid dye you have to take, so distracting myself was essential.
My Hospital is in Chelsea so after leaving and feeling a bit sorry for myself I got to take photos of my favourite blossom filled streets and stop off for a Coffee in Starbucks. I used this opportunity to catch up on my emails and Instagram feed, before heading to the shops in Clapham.
Home:
I wandered the charity shops and picked up a few bits from Claire’s but by this point I was so tired, so decided to call it a day and head home. Even though my tummy was hurting a bit from the scan I wanted to carry on being productive! I got out my iPad again and researched some inspiration for some YouTube videos. The evening was spent filming, exploring the internet and editing, which is a typical evening for me. Being able to chill on the sofa whilst exploring on my larger iPad screen (opposed to my phone) makes it much faster to get things done.
That was a day with me in London featuring Filofax and my new case. Everyday is different but it was fun to document it and see what I got up to. It’s amazing how much we rely on technology, so it’s important in my eyes to project our devices – especially in a case like this one. Shop Filofax new range of cases now, they are all so amazing!
