I have been most inspired by Markus Lupfer – with a collection of amazing pieces. There is a mixture of machine embroidery details, bold prints, embellished details and textured fabrics. The prints definitely pack a punch, especially when worn in a statement bow and matching all-in-one! I can really see myself and many others wearing the style, so I decided to illustrate ‘everyday’ ways to wear the looks. That’s why I love Fashion Week, for the ability to fall in love with a collection and then make it your own when styling yourself.
Other designers I have enjoyed have mainly been from New York so far. The amazing Anna Sui being one of them – She has been my favourite for years and just keeps on impressing me every season. Coach 1941 also had some amazing pieces, with fur detailing to die for.
So far I am enjoying the collections and look forward to posting again with more of my favourites. My next post is in collaboration with George at Asda, focusing on LFW street style!
