Dressing for spring | Dorothy Perkins & Ralph Lauren

Well guys, I broke my Sunday outfit post routine, in the first month of doing it, but it’s been a lot harder to maintain than I first envisioned. I have really enjoyed the challenge so far though, with trying to get an outfit on my blog once a week, and I hope you have been enjoying them. This look was perhaps me trying to be too ‘spring like’ considering it was actually freezing outside. It shows off my transitional style into sunnier fresh spring days, but I think in hindsight I should probably wait a few more weeks!

I went out in London for the day with my best friend, Adora, we went to the Fashion & Textiles Museum to see the Liberty exhibition. The day was beautiful; fresh bright blue skies and mild in the sunshine, but sadly the wind reminded us it was winter. I dressed more for spring in this outfit but it’s definitely something I can wear over and over again during the transitional period. The trousers are new from Dorothy Perkins (they sent them to me as a surprise gift which was so nice) and are ridiculously comfortable, I just fell in love with the daisy print. I teamed them with a roll neck jumper, faux fur gilet and new Red Leather leathers from Ralph Lauren. These shoes are perfect for casual valentines outfits, which is what I intend on wearing them for. They are also extremely comfy with cushion sole, and I highly recommend them, especially while they are reduced in the sale. I think I am getting very eager for spring so I am dressing without my heavy coats and scarves, but hey I love this outfit and who cares if I got a cold, right!?
