Paige Joanna Exploring London
As promised here is another post with some inspiration for visiting London this time of year. You can see in my previous post here, which included a hotel stay and festive themed day out that would be good for friends, family or anyone. The aim of this post is to show you something a bit more laid back, romantic and good for couples or best friends visiting London and fancy a bit of indulgence.
Hotel Stay:

Paige Joanna Exploring London RoseWood Hotels
The Rosewood Spa Hotel is a very British traditional hotel based near Holborn and Covent Garden. The decor resembles a British Manor Home and is rich in colour, comfort and style. It is only a short walk to the river side for an evening stroll, which at this time of year would require wooly hats and gloves, but the lights and view make it very romantic and worth every shiver. They offer a huge variety of rooms and cater for higher budgets but i’m sure you can agree it would be highly memorable. There are also several places to eat and drink on site so you don’t have to venture far to enjoy your evening. You can of course indulge and treat yourself in their spa as well if you want to relax one afternoon after the busy antics of London. This would be a great hotel choice if you fancied a little luxury or to surprise someone you love.

One of my all time favourite things to do is to have a casual day in South Kensington. Since living in London it’s the place I enjoy going to the most, on my own, with friends or with my Boyfriend Chris. It really is a beautiful place, the white houses are decorated with traditional and festive wreathes, the street lamps and fairy lights give off a yellow glow and you start to believe you could be in a Christmas film. The Natural History Museum is only a short walk from South Kensington station, as well as an array of cafes, pubs, shops and restaurants.
My friend Arabella highly recommended the Creperie to me as she is the queen when it comes to the most delicious and picture worthy places. I went on Saturday with my great friend and we grabbed a hot drink and delicious sweet crepes. We sat outside with heaters on us so we could watch people passing by and have a view of twinkling Christmas decorations. Little tip: take some beautiful photographs, have a bite to eat, browse the shops, walk hand in hand through the Museums and most of all soak in the ambience and festive cheer.
