Todays post is a quicker one than usual, as it’s simply to show off an outfit. I may have mentioned before that I love Dorothy Perkins, I like they are a brand for ‘real’ women that want to stay on trend and not look silly whilst doing so. I love that I can buy my essentials there as well as the latest styles. Here I am trying out the ‘flares’ look that many have been getting into recently. One thing I would say about these Dorothy Perkins ones is you HAVE to be about 5’8 or more as I had to cut off about 4 inches to take them up. That’s why the stitching is slightly noticeable, but after altering them I couldn’t of been happier in how I felt in them. After living the latter half of my teens and early adult hood in ‘skinny’ jeans, and them becoming the norm when jean shopping, trying a flare/boot leg was way out of my comfort zone. What I realised (as a pear shape lady) the flare really accentuate my figure in a really flattering may, it evened out my heavy thighs and bottom! I wore it with a patterned top also from DP which gives it a boho/70’s vibe in a really wearable, everyday way!
