holland park road london

I stated in one of my previous posts saying I am excited to share more of London here on my blog. I don’t intend on being some kind of travel expert or that you will even take on board what I say but i’d love to show you my favourite places in London. If you either live in the city or come to visit then I hope you try out the places I blog.

Holland Park

I met up with Georgie from Beauxoxo, who is the sweetest little pixie lady I know! She suggested we went to Holland Park near Kensington, which is the most beautiful area. The surrounding streets and places are gorgeous and you could say it would be a dream to live here.
Holland park itself is very easy to get to on the Central Line, and on a beautiful sunny day it’s the most attractive place to go. After visiting for the first time I would definitely recommend spending a couple of hours if not a few wandering the grounds and soaking up all the fantastic views. The flowers, wildlife and buildings all share a tranquil atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to come and bring a picnic with friends or your partner and unwind from city life (even for just a few hours).
It’s a place that feels like you are far from the city and in a secret whimsical garden. It’s free entry, it has public toilets and a lovely cafe to eat and drink in as well as ice cream.
All in all I would certainly suggest going for a stroll sometime. It’s a place i’ll definitely be going back to.
