Hello sweeties, hope you are all well this new week! I think I am still in daydream land after the amazing weekend I had, it went too fast. I got to spend a great day with Adora (Adora Mehitabel) one of my closest friends from the blogging world! We spent the day walking in the rain to my beach hut, singing high school musical, eating cake, drinking tea, changing outfits various times, soaking up the sun, talking about deep life events and overall just really enjoying time together! I laugh so much when i'm with her and we just get on so well, we click and understand each others humor which is so brilliant! So, we did what we love to do and took many photos in pretty places, I really wanted to share the best parts of Portsmouth with her. One of my favourite places in the summer is the Rose gardens opposite the seaside and happens to be next to my families beach hut. It's such a beautiful and whimsical place that makes me feel so girly and pretty to be around, It's a place I like to go to unwind and relax. It was great sharing it with Adora and making the most of the roses in full bloom in these photos.
My outfit is one I have wanted to wear for so long! I have had this dress since Graduation last year and it is one of my treasures. The illustrations on the print are by Caitlin Shearer, one of my favourite illustrators, so wearing it really inspires me. I feel so unique in it and although it cost quite a bit I am so happy to own one, especially as she doesn't sell them anymore sadly. Today was the perfect day to wear it in the mild sunshine and breezy seaside air, with a little lace jacket and white sandals. Simple outfit but I think the print is so lovely on it's own it doesn't need anything else.
