Last weekend was lovely, apart from being extremely tired after my first full time hour week it was a much appreciated rest. As well as sorting Christmas bits and bobs and relaxing on Saturday with my grandparents I decided to host a tea party at my place for my family. I was asked if I would like to host a tea party courtesy of Greggs bakery and of course I said yes. Drinking tea and eating nibbles, cakes and yummy things is my complete idea of a great time.

No tea party would be complete without the perfect crockery and pretty table decor. In this instance I was sent the perfect kit for the day! The most beautiful Cath Kidston mugs, that have been on my wishlist for ages were the perfect addition to my growing crockery collection. As well as the London Pottery tea pot, in red which is a really sweet one perfect for Christmas. Also in the parcel was this beautiful glass crystal cake stand, which is simple divine!! Beats my own card board one that’s for sure. Then all I needed to do was go to my local Greggs and spend £20 gift card on lots of yummy goodies all to treat my family, fair to say it went down really really well!! I love a good tea party and so glad I got this opportunity, if you fancy something sweet this season why not host your own? It’s a simple but lovely way to treat your loved ones.
