On Saturday I had the pleasure of seeing my lovely friend Steph, who you have all seen many times appearing on here. We only saw each other for a few hours but just enough time to go out and show her my neighborhood (I actually locked myself out and we had to walk to my boyfriends to get his keys – DOH)!
It was lovely to see her and because we are both bloggers we had to make the most of taking some nice outfit photos! This post however is outfit photos but also the images are going to be submitted to competition with Glo Minerals. The photos should be live on their facebook page soon for voting so will let you all know!

Anchor Light Blue Dress – Bonne Chance

Grey Tights – Primark

Coat & Boots – Both Topshop

Cardie & Bag – Vintage

My outfit for the day was highly influenced from the 1950’s Era, as the competition meant you had to choose your favorite. I knew this beautiful dress from Bonne Chance would be perfect for the look as it is a sweet classic style and has a cute belt to clinch in the waist. All the other details are my usual style, an over sized vintage cardigan, tights and boots. The main thing to make the look a retro style is the make up, which I used Glo Minerals. For the competition I was sent a white eye shadow, black liquid eye liner and red lipstick, all of which are my usual daily essential items but it was fun to use them to look 1950’s.
