It is about time that I followed a current trend and this has to be one of my all time favorites as a classic winter and vintage look. The trend is tartan and I must say this dress from Pussy Cat London is one of the best I have seen. It’s the right shade of tartan and nice fabric that doesn’t look cheap and tacky like some highstreet stores have unfortunately. I like the fact it has a peter pan collar and chiffon floaty fabric making it girly and chic.

Tartan Dress – Pussycat London

Brown Jumper – H&M

Tweed Jacket – Vintage Style Me

Polka Dot Tights – Chictopia

Orange Socks – Topshop

Brown Boots – Topshop

Necklace – BHS

My outfit is very autumn inspired, with browns and rich colours as well as layering. I love wearing cropped jumpers over dresses and tend to do this a lot when it’s cold and the jumper almost becomes a part of the dress. In  this case I have gone for my brown one from H&M that I have had a couple of years now, I love the fact it has elbow patches for a bit of vintage detailing. Sticking with some elements of vintage I wore my tweed retro jacket from Vintage Style Me!
