The weather is getting colder and days are shorter now the clocks have gone back which can only mean one thing, Christmas planning! This year I am a little over excited as moving into my own place means decorating and DIY’s for presents. I intend on sharing all my progress with you including some little easy DIY’s and some outfit posts getting into the spirit. Today’s outfit post is on the edge of being in the spirit of things, as I added some pretty antlers and illustrations to go with the theme.

Bambie Print Dress – Brat and Suzie

Black tights – Primark

Black boots – Primark

Cardie – Thrifted

Over sized Black Coat – Oh My Love

Socks – Topshop

The dress is the sweetest print with Bambi on it, from the awesome Brat and Suzie! This got me feeling that styling would have to be with wintery colours and layers. Although the back is a cut out which can be quite a summery detail on a dress, this means that it is versatile all year round. For this time of year though and the dreaded windy bitter cold that has surrounded the south this week, all I needed was an over sized cardie, tights, boots and coat. These sort of outfits are my go to’s for winter as they are easy to style, comfy and cute! I like dresses with patterns as it instantly adds a quirky touch to any look. Also helps that this dress has Bambi on it, which is adorable!
