I wanted to start this blog post by re-introducing myself. I have seen a few friends do this on Instagram and decided I would quite like to do it here, on my blog! Over the past few months I have gained quite a few new readers and I cannot express enough how happy this makes me feel. Numbers aren’t the most important things to me, your feedback is but I must say it means an awful lot that you like my blog enough to continue to support it. So here goes to any newbies or any older followers that have been with me since the beginning. This Floral Pleated Skirt is my must have item for summer, and you will soon discover my love for pastels.
Re-Introducing Myself
My name is Paige Joanna Calvert, I turned 22 in May and I am a triplet with 2 other sisters, sadly not identical (although sometimes I wish we were)! I also have an older brother who recently got engaged, jealous much! I just graduated from University from an Illustration degree, so now I am joining the large working world, it’s pretty scary! If you couldn’t already guess I am a bit of a clothes fanatic and fashion follower wannabe. I kind of dress to make myself happy and realise I am wearing something that was in fashion a few years ago, but I like to have fun with my outfits. Also I don’t have a set niche, I like what I like and a wear a variety of all different trends!
Deep down though I always have been and always will be the biggest girly girl ever. I love floral’s, pastel colours and accessories. When I was 16 I made my own prom dress, and to this day I still love sewing and continue to make and alter my own clothes. I hopefully one day will put these talents into a store (when I can afford it). I have a lovely handsome boyfriend called Chris, who I personally think looks a lot like Brendan Urie from Panic at the disco, although he can’t sing like him :). We are moving into our own place soon and I can’t wait to start a new life with him.
I like to think I’m really laid back and can get on with just about anyone or any age! I love silly things and going round my Nan’s and raiding her attic (it resembles Aladdin cave). Our whole family used to be in amateur dramatics, and my Nan used to make and collect loads of costume. So we’re talking vintage items, scarves, shoes, bags, parasols, brooches, jewellery… just about anything you can think of she has. Lately I have been doing some sewing projects with my mum and am loving spending time with her. I just accepted a job (at long last guys) at Schuh, so I can FINALLY say I have a job, am so happy to tell you all. I’m a bit of a hoarder and lover of crafts and nostalgia. Not much else to know about me really apart from small details. SO, welcome to my blog which is now a .co.uk!!! I really hope you continue to read and enjoy my posts, every comment you make I read!! This outfit goes to show my extremely girly side, and not to mention my love for pretty lace and accessories. The top and skirt are both from one of my favorite online shops, Awwdore. I wont lie the skirt is a tad short, so maybe not decent if you are tall! I can just get away with it on my waist but I don’t mind wearing some cycle shorts under it to keep my decency. I love these nude flat shoes from Chicwish, they are perfect for lighter outfits because they are subtle and go with bare legs. My head band is from Beauxoxo and was made especially for me, check her out you can request custom ones of your choice, as well as all her lovely stock.
