What a glorious day of sunshine we are having here in England. It is quite a strange feeling to feel warm under the sun rays, even got a golden glow to my skin whilst working outside. All my day has consisted of is doing uni work, taking photos and running errands, all in all quite a boring day.

On a plus note though I finally got round to styling this absolutely gorgeous dress from Chicwish. In September it will be worn for something a lot more exciting, for the wonderful Megan’s wedding. I tried to keep the top half of it a little sacred so it doesn’t spoil it for the big day. It it the perfect shade of pastel candy blue, and in the sunshine it is such a happy colour. I think pastel shades are my favorite during the summer months but I have really warmed to this blue in particular, especially now my hair has more copper tones, I think the two work nicely together. This morning the wind was slightly chilly so it meant a cropped jumper was the perfect accompaniment to the dress, to match the pretty white flower detail. I chucked on a pair of my Topshop frilly socks with my new Topshop T-bar sandals.
All in all, I felt really happy in this look and would have been perfect for a picnic with friends, however I continued doing my university work, but compromised by taking it outdoors. I hope you got to enjoy a little bit of the sunshine today and fingers crossed it stays like this!
