I got to enjoy some of the sunshine in between frantically finishing pieces of work for the deadline on friday, YES THIS FRIDAY! If you follow me on Instagram you will see I have been putting up my exhibition space today. But I will speak of that in more detail during the week.

Yesterday was a pretty relaxed and sunny Sunday. apart from doing work I just lounged in the warm conservatory, watched TV and went to the park with my dad in the sunshine. I have been in good spirits lately, not sure why considering the usual deadline stress, I think I am too calm?
Any way, because of the sunshine, I wanted to wear something bright and fun. I love the mustard yellow dress in the summer months, I brought it last year from Primark and it’s been a great addition to my wardrobe. I can wear it on it’s own on a really hot day, or like this outfit layer it with other items to create something a bit more imaginative.
I layered on my collared blouse and skater skirt, with the addition of these beautiful yellow rose collar clips from Roses and clementines I fell in love with the store last week when I discovered it through lookbook. They have the most amazing and unique flower head bands and crowns, and not to mention a great selection of collar clips just like these ones. Go have a look for yourself!
