Little Pineneedle
Hello all, Hope you are all well. Isn’t it absolutely freezing!! Doesn’t make getting things done any easier, on my last week at Uni before the Christmas break. I am starting to get very excited, have all my presents wrapped and now just have to get all my work done, sigh.
Today, although it is freezing, I have brought the sunshine to my outfit! When I received these darling collar clips through the post this morning, courtesy of Little Pineneedle, it really cheered me up. I woke up feeling like I couldn’t be bothered and I was about to have a ‘jumper and leggings’ day but then, hey presto, these beauties arrive. So I styled them, hopefully to the best I could in this terrible weather; lots of layers of course.
I think the yellow of the sunflowers worked quite well with my denim shirt from Topshop, so they were my staple pieces to the look. Then just mixing it with my over-loved Topshop pleated skirt and warm over the knee socks. If like me you don’t wear jeans and tights are pretty much what you wear all year round, I find wearing knee high’s on top is SO much warmer. In fact, I would say it’s pretty cosy, and looks quite cute also. Any way, I hope you like my outfit and the collar clips. Thank you Annika for sending me them, I really do love them and it’s so nice getting to talk to such a lovely lady even though you’re on the other side of the planet. Much love.
