Hey, I put some new shoes on and suddenly everything is right.
Last night was positively swell, travelling 2 hours up to Bristol with my (plus one) and best friend Ellie was all so worth it. I was so excited to introduce my friend to the little blogging community that I have become very close friends with and it was a huge hit. Everyone got on really well and we all laughed a lot (especially when getting interviewed, more on this soon). So, the company was brilliant and the free beer didn’t go a miss. Although I am more of a shandy drinker myself.
The event went well, quite a lot of people showed up and we all crammed into the new store which has been set out marvelously. Shopping and listening to live music at the same time was quite a challenge but a fun one, I managed to try some shoes on and also take some lovely photos for you all to see! I liked Dr Martens before but after last night I think I have fallen a bit in love. If like me, you are tiny (yes, I know I mention this a lot), then you feel the classic dm boots make your feet look rather large, then there is an answer! They have a fantastic range of more ‘lady like’ shoes, specifically in the Parkway Collection. I have fallen in love with a pair of heeled shoes which I will post a photo of below!
all in all though, a lovely evening with great company and good music. I feel a little old though when I got home after 2 hours in the car, my ears ringing and felt exhausted. But all I could think about was that pair of shoes!! Hmmm, well Christmas is creeping up. Maybe we could all treat ourselves?
