Hello everyone, how are you all? Today this grey, wet weather is really bringing me down. It is hard to be cheerful when you have to travel around in the cold and the dark. Plus university has hit that point where everyone on my course is glum or stressed and it isn’t fun! I want to start feeling Christmasy so I brought a few presents online over the last few days, which does perk me up!
I also decided to purchase this rather lovely velvet skirt from Romwe. I am wearing it today as it is really comfy and it just about goes with everything! As I went for the ‘boring’ option, I decided to wear it with my white blouse I brought from Republic for 10 pounds in the sale! The two together made me feel like I was a victorial child or something, so I added some white socks, grey tights, tan cardie and lace up wedges. The look overall is pretty simple but I love how the texture of the velvet makes it seem more quirky, if that makes sense. Anyway, I hope you like it!
