Good evening, 2 posts in one day, I know I am treating you well today! This is what I wore to University today, finally! I have had this outfit planned for ages now and been thinking of the right time to wear it. I did get a few funny looks because for Portsmouth my hem line is pretty long to the norm, so I think people were shocked. haha. Either that or I am being paranoid! Anyway, I loved making this Jolie Moi dress more wintry with black staple pieces The crop jumper was perfect tightened at the waist with a belt, with black tights and boots! The hem length means I have to wear some kind of heel to even things out a bit! If you are ‘petite’ and struggle with midi dresses or skirts then I would recommend wearing a cropped (at the waist) jumper or jacket, this makes your torso seem smaller making your legs longer. Then worn with even small heels will even it all out!
I also received some AMAZING hand-made Collar clips in the post today that I ordered. I fell in love after a friend tweeted about them and had to go and buy not 1 but 2 sets! It is a lovely lady over at ‘Lady bird likes’, an Etsy sight that I am sure is going to get more and more popular. Her approach to packaging and design is simple and beautiful that It really makes me want to buy more already. They were wrapped in such pretty paper and tags saying ‘hello’. I thought they were so cute and to dye for!! Go check them out!!
