Hello everyone, How are you all today?
today I ventured outside for a spot of fresh air and some exercise on my little lilac shopper bike. I have wanted to post some photos of it for a while and was waiting for the right time and place. As the sun was shining I thought it would be lovely to go to the lake about a 10 minute ride away. So on i hopped with my basket full of stuff and my tripod on the back. Much to my satisfaction it didn’t fall off and I got there in one piece. It was so peaceful down there, even though in the same grounds about 50 meters away is a Porche ‘shop’ and some offices this section was closed off and on the edge of the lake it had a beautiful view. I sat for a while and read through one of my university books called ‘Emotion’ (hence today’s title) and just appreciated the sunshine.
It would be rude to go somewhere this lovely and not take photos so for my lookbook/outfit post today I decided the waters edge was quite nice scenery.
My outfit is fairly simple; lilac button up top and midi length skirt, both vintage items that i risked wearing together but I actually quite like the combination. I feel navy goes quite well with lilac as it doesn’t take too much of the softness away but also gives the outfit a little bit of edge. I kept the belt and shoes the same colour to tie everything together. As for my nails I attempted the ‘ombre’ effect a lot of people have been going on about and I must admit, it was SO much easier then i thought it would be and I really love the overall effect. What do you think?
